Star Trek: Starbase 777 - rigas-main-engineering

Engineering was... as to be expected. It was a normal engineering area with central control to the entire base. One could disable the power, unlock doors, etc. All with a touch of a button! There were consoles throughout the room where one could access the network.

"Here we are," All this work, and this is what it was for. All they had to do was not screw this up and they'd be home free...

"Hold on..." Maya said as she entered Main engineering "What if these consoles have a 2nd sodoku crossword puzzle password. More importantly... shouldn't there be people here?"

"I suppose we should unlock all the doors so we can all get out of here. Maybe then we can get transporters online too as I do not think we can get everyone into the sub. Maybe we should see if Eventide is finished with repairs?" He suggested, thinking about how they were to get all these people out.

"Alriiiight, yeah, got here totally fine, that's good-" he went up to one of the consoles and checked it out. "Maybe they're all uh, trying to... you know, I dunno, actually. Maybe stay on guard, because you'd think if we already shut down the wifi, they'd try to come down here to quick-fix it back up..." he nodded at Alizati. "Unlock all the doors? Yeah, sure, I'll do that. Ah, all the doors except the one with the weapons we just locked up, that is." And then he tried doing that.

And there was .... ANOTHER PUZZLE. This time the goal was to connect the same-coloured circles whilst not letting any lines overlap...

"Oh, I love these games." The text to speech could not embody Iviaan's excitement properly, but it was there. He went up beside Allan. "May I?"

"Yeah, go for it," Allan said, stepping a little to the side so Iviaan could go at it. "I like it a lot too, it's a lot like cable management."

Iviaan moved himself a little higher in the air, going for the console to solve the puzzle, hopefully. "That should do it, I think?"

The puzzle was solved! And there was one more....

"Nice," Allan said to Iviaan when he'd solved the first one, and then he looked at the second one for a few seconds, "I'll do this one?" And if there were no objections, he went ahead and gave it a shot!

SUCCESS! And the network was open so now they could do whatever they wanted! Enable transporters being one of them!

"Ah we are being called," Alizati said, hearing the sound of a comms coming through.

"Oh, hell yeah," he said, and he offered a fistbump to Iviaan before tapping his commbadge to reply to Sai.

The very slightest Vulcan pout as they held up their version of the solved puzzle, just slightly after Allan showed his.

He smiled over at Thalass's version and laughed just a little. "Oh, I love it, thank you," he said, and then turned back to the console. "Gonna shut off the prison cell doors now, and turn transporter controls back on," and then he tried to do just that!

Success! Prison doors deactivated.

“Oh, fantastic! That’s everything we had to do, right?” He turned in a small circle, looking around the room to see if anything stood out to him.

"Very well done." Iviaan was very ready to go, but he was glad they got everything done!

"I suppose last thing to do is beam up everyone to the Eventide, no?" Alizati suggested, thinking of what else could possibly be done. (edited)

"Yeah, I can just... Dezyim, you mind downloading a schematic of the entire place? Shouldn't be too hard to get off of this center console, and it'll be good for evidence," he said as he tossed his data rod from earlier to the cadet. "But yeah, we're pretty much good here. Just gotta beam everyone up."

Iviaan placed a hand on metal case with the deactivated bracelet inside, double checking it was still there. It was! Awesome.
